High luster hair reflects the greatest amount of light and can be thought of as glossy hair.
Medium luster hair reflects an amount of light that is less than high luster, but more than low luster and can be thought of as shiny hair or hair that sparkles.
Low luster hair reflects the least amount of light and can be thought of as hair with sheen.
