Presently, Arjuni sells only hair that is virgin with the cuticle layers in alignment. Our current attachment offering is the machine-tied weft appropriate for weaving techniques.
Here are our answers to the questions we recommend you ask any retailer :
1. Is Arjuni a supplier or vendor?
We are a supplier. In fact, Arjuni is one of the few companies in the world that oversees every aspect of virgin hair extensions, including collection, sanitization and fabrication.
2. If supplier (see Question #1 above), what is your process to collect and sanitize the hair?
Arjuni sells only hair that we have harvested. We cut and store the hair in such a way to ensure the cuticle layers remain in alignment.
We've done considerable research and have created our own remedy to delouse and sanitize the hair using only products that are natural (78% of which are certified organic). Under no circumstances do we boil, steam, bleach or apply pesticides to the hair.
3. Is the hair subjected to descaling or cuticle removal?
Absolutely not.
4. How are the hair patterns achieved?
Naturally. Whatever hair patterns we collect from our hair donors are what's in our portfolio.
5. Is your hair color treated?
Absolutely not.
And you may be curious as to whether our hair is remy, meaning collected from Hindu temples.
We proudly answer no. Unlike common industry practice, we compensate our hair donors directly. It is the women themselves who receive payment in exchange for their hair - not the religious institutions, not the holding companies, not the agents. We've discovered that hair donors greatly appreciate this opportunity, as the earnings provide much-needed financial assistance for themselves and their families.
